La Palmeraie by Costabravaway

We are a family from the Netherlands and stayed at Villa Palmeraie as a family of four: two adults and our two children, aged 8 and 9. We had never booked a private villa for our family before. We knew we wanted to return to Spain, but we definitely didn’t want to stay at a campsite. Then we found Villa Palmeraie, hosted by Vera and Marc — and it turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. The villa is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. It is incredibly spacious, with a beautiful large living room, a separate dining area and a fantastic, generously sized kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need. There is a microwave, oven, stove, kettle, toaster, several coffee machines and even a washing machine, which was a huge plus for us. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. One thing that isn’t completely clear from the photos online is that every bedroom has air conditioning, as does the living room. We were very happy about this, although the villa was so comfortable and pleasant that we didn’t even need to have the air conditioning running all the time. All the windows are also fitted with shutters, which is perfect for keeping the villa cool and the bedrooms dark when you want to sleep. There is also good, free Wi-Fi throughout the villa. We were even able to bring our own PlayStation and use it there, which our children obviously appreciated! Downstairs, there is a large private garage where you can safely park your car — there is even enough space for two cars. The neighbourhood is lovely, well-kept and, most importantly for us, very peaceful. At the same time, you are less than a ten-minute drive from several beaches and lively seafront promenades, including Sant Antoni de Calonge and Platja d’Aro. There are so many different beaches nearby: large sandy beaches, small coves, beaches with rocks and beaches without. There really is something for everyone. PP’s Park, a small and manageable amusement park that is great for children, is also less than ten minutes away by car. The villa itself is extremely well maintained. The pool is regularly taken care of and the garden is beautifully maintained as well. There is a barbecue, a convenient waste disposal system, and plenty of places nearby where you can dispose of your rubbish whenever it suits you. Also there are several supermarkets nearby. One of my favourite things about our stay was simply being at the villa. Everything was clean and tidy, I could do laundry whenever needed, and by the pool you could lie in the sunshine while feeling a lovely breeze and hearing the wind rustling through the leaves of the beautiful trees, plants and flowers. It was incredibly peaceful. Although we stayed with just four people in a villa designed for eight, this really is a place where eight people could comfortably stay without it feeling crowded. The villa is genuinely that spacious. Another very convenient detail is that the office where we collected the keys is less than a five-minute drive from the villa. Vera is incredibly friendly, approachable and easy to reach. Shortly before arrival, you also receive a link to an app containing all the information you could possibly need during your stay, which made everything very easy. Before this holiday, we did wonder whether staying in a private villa would be as much fun for the children as other types of holidays. We can now say that, for our family, it absolutely was. Our children are 8 and 9 and they are already asking to come back next year. We loved having the peace, space and privacy of our own villa, while being able to find beaches, boulevards, restaurants and entertainment within minutes whenever we wanted. It gave us the best of both worlds: real peace and quality time together as a family, without ever feeling isolated or far away from everything. We enjoyed our holiday here so much that we have already sent a request to book again for next year. We are genuinely so happy to have finally found a place in Spain that ticks every single box for our family. Thank you, Vera and Marc, for a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Voor het 3e jaar op rij hebben we 3 weken vakantie gevierd in deze super mooie villa. Nette kamers met aparte badkamers, heerlijk zwembad en alles aanwezig dat nodig is

Waauw , al,meermaals een villa gehuurd in de costa brava maar deze steekt er ver boven uit , alles is nieuw en proper . Het halen van de sleutel verliep vlot , net zoals de ook het communicatie . Nog nooit zulke goede service gehad . Top
